Overnight Colorado River Rafting: Two and Three Day Adventures Trips

The roar of the campfire, the soft chirping and buzzing of the forest, the churning of the Upper Colorado river, the cover of a starlit sky— overnight rafting trips are the perfect addition to any Colorado vacation experience.

After a full day of whitewater rafting, what could be better than a campfire meal and sleeping in a warm sleeping bag, nestled down in a cozy tent?!  But that can be a challenge when bags and suitcases are already filled with the essentials.  Packing the gear required for an overnight rafting trip is not always a possibility for those traveling to Colorado. Mad Adventures will turn one day of whitewater rafting on the Upper Colorado River into a two or three day adventure by providing an experienced guide and other essentials for a great overnight whitewater rafting trip.

Upper Colorado River rafting trips are great for the whole family.  The class II and III River makes whitewater rafting trips accessible for ages six and up.  Mad Adventures begins the Upper Colorado river rafting experience at the pump house launching site and sets up camp along the river's banks during the late afternoon. Guides usually lead short riverside hikes before dinner to explore the areas around the river.  After dinner, guests can lounge around the campfire and laugh about the day’s whitewater rafting trips. Meals and beverages are provided throughout the trip.

If you are looking for an overnight whitewater rafting experience, these two- and three-day adventures make wonderful whitewater rafting vacations. There is a 6 person minimum for overnight trips.  The minimum age for rafters on these Upper Colorado rafting trips is 6 years old.
